zhou313 2007-10-21 06:14:06 回复 悄悄话 第一次听这首歌，是10年前从电视直播的戴安娜的葬礼上，Elton John那感人的歌声和欲哭无泪的悲伤表情让人难忘。戴安娜车祸遇难时，我在巴黎。虽然我不是王妃迷，但为一个美丽的生命这样残酷地结束而感到伤心。更何况，她是两个当时还年幼的孩子的母亲......，当然，我也是在自己做了母亲后，感慨更深：希望看到和陪伴孩子长大。
虽然Elton John不是自己最喜爱的歌手，但对他唱的《Candle in The Wind》却情有独钟，谢谢Rebecca和我们一起分享。

Sir Elton Hercules John CBE (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight on 25 March 1947) is a five-time Grammy and one-time Academy Award-winning English pop/rock singer, composer and pianist.

In his four-decade career, John has been one of the dominant forces in rock and popular music, especially during the 1970s. His is one of the most successful artists of all time. His success has had a profound impact on popular music and has contributed to the continued popularity of the piano in rock and roll.
