25 Minutes Too Late

 

25 Minutes Too Late 《25 Minutes》was performed by Michael Learns to Rock(MLTR), a Danish pop/soft rock band, which includes Jascha Richter, Mikkel Lentz and Kare Wanscher. MLTR follow a basic verse-chorus song-form with lyrics comprising straight forward and short-length phrasing. According to Jascha, after he has written the song, Mikkel takes the ideas further and makes it into a final production. Mikkel believes the secret behind MLTR's sustained music career is the non-conformance to any musical trends, "We never tried to follow trends. I think that's the reason we are still around. There's been trip hop, grunge, pop. We never fitted into these trends. What seems to be tough then is now our strength. They're just songs. The songs don't belong to a musical wave." 《25 Minutes》was a beautiful and touching song, yet kind of sad, too. The song sang about a boy and girl who used to be lovers. Later, they broke up and went their separate ways. Finally, the boy decided to have the girl back. He travelled really far to look for the girl. He looked for her everywhere except the church. She was in her wedding dress, was about to get married and  to become somebody else's bride. He was  25 minutes too late. Cherish what you have. When it is lost, you can not get it back.
