昨日重现

Karen Carpenter,生于1950年,走红于七十年代。中国大陆对西方开放，卡伦卡彭特是最先在中国大陆的土地上登录的西方文化代表之一。 

她的很多首歌都非常好听，世界之巅（Top of the World,1973），《车票》（Ticket to Ride, 1970）、《超级明星》（Superstar, 1971）、《请邮差》（Please Mr. Postman, 1974）《什锦菜》（Jambalaya, 1974）都超好听。《昔日重来》（Yesterday Once More）更是一首经典曲目。 

我第一次听这首歌时还在上海，走在葡萄藤下的校园小路上，一个同学拎着收音机走过，收音机里正播着这首歌。 

“When I was young I'd listen to the radio  

Waiting for my favorite songs 

When they played I'd sing along, 

It made me smile. 

Those were such happy times and not so long ago 

How I wondered where they'd gone. 

But they're back again just like a long lost friend 

All the songs I love so well. 

Every shalala every wo'wo still shines.

When they get to the part where he's breaking her heart

It can really make me cry just like before.

Looking back on how it was in years gone by

And the good times that had makes today seem rather sad,

So much has changed.

It was songs of love that I would sing to them

And I'd memories each word.

Those old melodies still sound so good to me

As they melt the years away

每一句sing aling aling 他们唱得还是如此动听 

当歌曲演绎到 伤心的地方 确实让我哭泣 。。。。 昨日重现 

回头看看走过的这些时光 幸福记忆让今天的我感伤 有太多已经改变 

那首我曾为他唱的爱情歌曲 每句歌词还印在我脑海里 

那些旧的记忆依然那么美妙 为我带走 这么多年的忧伤 

每一句 sha la la la 每一句wo wo 仍散发光彩 

每一句sing aling aling 他们唱得还是如此动听 所有美妙回忆 

清晰地向我袭来 他们确实能让我哭泣 就象以前那样。。。。 昨日重现 

 在80年代的世界流行乐坛，卡彭特兄妹演唱组合一度成为美国乃至世界青年的偶像，是无数少男少女的梦中情人。Karen的嗓音是造物主的恩赐：空灵、安恬而略带忧郁，可以轻易地俘虏你的心。每次听Carpenter的歌我都有一种久旱逢甘霖，它乡遇故知的感觉，亲切温暖难以言表。她的歌声能轻而易举地带动你的情感，一下子就触到你的灵魂深处，像一只温柔的手撩拨着你的内心最美妙的心弦，这个时候你会发现自己不知不觉地成了Carpenter的奴隶，成了她的音乐的奴隶。 

 1983年，Karen Carperter由于长期靠节食以保持自己苗条的身材，患上了厌食症，不治而亡，一颗巨星就此殒落，她只活了32岁。

卡彭特的歌伴随着我的青涩岁月，我曾经如此迷恋她的一切， 不仅她的歌声， 还有那歌声中的意境，他们引领着我来到美国这个自由的国度，为此我将终生感谢，感谢她天使一般的声音。

你翻得很好嘛。我也是从网上的下载的译文略微修改了一下。

我翻成：“当他们播放时我跟着唱，这带给我欢笑。”和你的比有两点更动。１。不用“独自”而用“跟着”for the word along. ２。不用“他们”而用“这”for the word it.

我也喜欢并唱这歌。我还喜欢"What Will Be" by Doris Day, "Country Roads Take Me Home" by John Dever, "Right Here Waiting" by Richar Max. Of course at this season there are many of my favorite Christmas songs. "White Christmas" is one.

By the way, the "It make me smile" must be "It made me smile"

记得学英语时，也是喜欢听她的歌，因为她唱的歌词特别清晰。
