小跃进需要先有研究成果才可能进那些，建议选老师多学生少的研究硕士比如P，或者四大中给外校来读的如S，CMU, 短平快

好像M不太招外面来的硕士，大多是本校留硕. Cal硕士和ucsd/uiuc留读硕差别不大. S硕士如果做TA两年，如果自己付钱一年，适合跃进。 Cmu硕士小留多可能相对也容易进。 P硕士还是有发表，有不少外校来比如cal,Columbia在P读两年然后再去其他地方读博；一位cal本科在P硕士时有几篇引用很多的发表，是大模型的试金石之一. [阅读全文]

可能大撒网是定位错误。一般自己学校学长找到工作的地方，应该是最容易去的地方，除非那些公司正在裁人或者自己功力不到位

有些地方只要第三年实习的，除非自己说三年毕业，太早投是小概率；还有些地方有自己目标学校，其他学校的除非特别惊艳也免谈；特别好学校的学生去申请很一般公司，别人感觉留不住，也不想浪费时间给机会。海投很小概率，去了也可能自己不满意。选比较理想的大概一二十个申请，三五个面试，抓到一两个工作就可以了。进了一个公司，看离开的人选去哪里[阅读全文]

先问自己高中康嫂。如果加州还可以查自己高中各加大分别男女亚裔每年录几个去几个，不去的是t10数目；对外州高中可能不太有用

https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/about-us/information-center/admissions-source-school 每个高中伯克利和洛杉矶录取人数的最大值大概率包括了所有有t5竞争力的学生。可以选男女和族裔分析一下了解自己高中前排情况。虽然早申成功可能有学生自己去取消加大申请，但好像这样做的不多，而且加大网站也不保证操作能成。加大前七校也没听说对加州t5录取生有yieldprotection，一般都还会给[阅读全文]

课学到要求就应该是A吧，有点地方不太懂，做题目功力不到位，项目出不来，自然就差点可能拿不到，不管难度，牛人轻松普通人吃力

成绩实在跟不上也可以选Pass或者drop啊. 另一方面，好学生往往修难课，跟风的有很多机会在一起讨论做项目。
