I think we tend to like the same writers: WuMan, MengNv, RuMeng, Yuqing... I asked myself if I was attracted to their poems because they are female. The answer was "No" :) I can honestly say this because I am not attracted to those male writers with a female ID :) I do occasionally find good poems from male writers, but not as consistent as from female writers. I think females express themselves more open.
I will provide some opinion to your poems when I see proper, both positive and negative. Don't worry, I will not pretend to be a superior poet when I do it, I will offer my opinion for your reference only.
A poet can write in many differnt styles. But some people seem get offended if a poem does not "conform" with their single style. Sometimes, people get to excited by one aspect they know a little, and overlook all other aspects that they know little. (There are other brave hearts who dare to comment on things they know nothing!) When someone heard the theory that poem should not have comma, period..., he would attempt to erase them all from other people's poems :) The problem is that they assume their opinions are the best. Once this assumption is made, what is the purpose for further discussion? My approach is to share opinions without seeking an agreement.
