今天早晨，我还赖在被窝里。小P穿着睡衣就钻进妈咪的被窝，假装自己是不会说话的哑巴，眼睛盯着我，我故意背对着他。他扳过我的背，面向他，指手画脚的，嘴里发出“嗯嗯呀呀”的声音。眼睛一直盯着我，生怕我又背过身去。我也装做哑巴，两个哑巴只看脸部表情，特好玩。（心想有点RDI的味道）。等做够了哑巴，我就开始说“Happy Thanksgiving!”小P回应一句“Happy Thanksgiving，Mummy!”我说“Happy Thanksgiving，everybody!”他也说“Happy Thanksgiving，everybody!”姐姐也凑热闹，钻进我们的被窝。
我就开始给小P讲thanksgiving 的由来，姐姐补充!(姐姐在他们的social study单元刚学过)。什么Mayflower ship ; Cap cord; pilgrims ; Native America; Indians; plant (corn , squash, beans and crops)；feast这个故事听得小P云里雾里的。但有一点是明确的：每年十一月的最后一个星期四是庆祝感谢人事或物的。我就给他们讲妈妈要今天要感谢你们三个，因为是你们三个教会我如何去“love”！我就问姐弟俩“你们要感谢什么？”姐姐马上说“我要感谢dad and Harry Potter!”小P说“ Best (most) thankful is mummy in my house!”我就接着问“Why?”小P说“First you cook for me!(多么具体！)”我提醒他第二呢？他说“You read stories for me !(还是很具体！)”“Third ,your hair is beautiful!(令我大笑！这个concrete 的儿子！)“Fourth, you smile at me!”“Fifth, you hug me!”“Sixth, you kiss me! ”“Seventh, you say ‘Good night’ And ‘Love you forever，like you for always. As long as I 'm living, my mummy you'll be!’ Oh, no, I mean‘ my little P you'll be!’”“Eighth, you give me the best presents!”“Ninth, I love you!(总算来一句抽象一点的！)”这就是我的小P!我要感恩的小P,我已经很满意他的回答！
姐姐的回答没有出乎我的意料！但是她今天的作文令我欣喜！内容是这样的：
The Best Person In The World Is….
I think the best person in this world is my dad because I love his big huggys (hugs). I love my dad. Another reason is because he is kind (I like him better than my mom.) Many people may not think my dad is the best person in the world but to me : I love him!
These are things I know about my dad.1.Never lazy 2.Loves his garden 3.His favorite color is dark green. 4. Is generise(generous) 5.Huggerble(hugable？) 6.Is 39 or something close to that years old. 7. Bigger than my mom three years old 8.He works. 9. I know he likes me. I know that much about my dad “Oh, yea (yeah)! He knows everything.” ( like fixing the computer and drawing 3D stuff)
You see I love my dad very much! Do you ?
先生在姐姐的心目中，多象我自己父亲在我眼中“父亲，女儿心中的太阳”啊！我们夫妇感到无比的喜悦，在2008年感恩节这一天！
