生命无常

I was informed that my best supervisor passed away on weekend. She was admitted to the hospital due to pneumonia. Unfortunately, she developed sepsis and died. I still can't believe it happened. I talked to one of her previous colleagues last week and leanred that she created a new position from scratch and helped infertil couples concerive their babies. I always take her as my role model. She is very nice and intelligent, patient and creative. I can't imagine how her children will lead a life without her. She is only in her early 50's I believe. Life is so unfair to her.

I feel very sad and shocked. Life is unpredictable.
