宣泄痛苦，寻求快乐-介绍三支最喜欢的美国乐队
我来美国比较早，很多中国后来的歌都不知道，和化石似的，常被无名他们无情嘲
笑为土
美国歌还是听了不少，也知道不少。刚来美国那阵子爱听OLDIES，因为有时会放卡
蓬特和江尼开士，这几个是在中国就听过的，听歌时便有身在美国但回了中国的感
觉。听多了，很多歌就熟起来，自然有不少自己喜欢的，先是只记得音乐和曲调，
后来词也开始熟了，但对歌手的名字和乐队的名字总是记不清。
60，70年代的歌，除去BEATLES开始摇滚了一下外大多的歌还是挺深情的(soulful)，80年代的歌有
点乱，摇滚，电子乐器革命，很多不同类型都搅一块了，有点乱乱的不知往哪儿发展，
直到90年出了个Nirvana，彻底震晕了美国和世界音乐界。
要讲美国的摇滚，一定得讲Nirvana和Kurt Cobain
在Nirvana以前大部分的乐队和歌曲，都崇尚优美流畅和谐深情，即便疯狂也是偶一
为之，有很大的装饰性。Nirvana只所以绝无仅有，正是因为他们和以前所有的BAND都
不同，他们的音乐认真，不掩饰的深切地“表-达-痛-苦”他们用真实的，声嘶力竭
到破碎的声音表达他们赤裸的内心，开创了PUNK 音乐的先河。他们的音乐制作反完
美反商业。比如1993年九月的"In Utero"，这是摇滚史上最佳朋克专集之一，这个
集子把Kurt Cobain 内心的狂燥、愤怒、压抑、扭曲、病态、激烈的矛盾冲突完全
显示了出来，同时也也反映了Kurt 温柔、感性的一面。其中最有名的一首歌“RAPE
ME”极端个人化的袒露 他 最深层的恐惧和脆弱的心。这种风格使得他们的朋克摇滚，
成为一种独特的艺术，而94年Kurt Cobain的自杀更血淋淋活生生的把这种朋克摇
滚推向音乐史的顶峰

Nirvana在国内被翻成涅磐乐队，我第一次听他们的歌的感觉是：
还有人这么认真地痛苦着，比额还厉害，立刻自己就不那么孤独地痛苦了 。
涅磐乐队在音乐界就和卡夫卡在文学史上的地位差不多
Nirvana永远是我深爱的一只乐队，并不因为他们有名。对所有真实表达内心表达痛苦的作品，我永远膜拜，永远崇敬。
从90后很多摇滚乐队都受不少Nirvana的影响。我比较喜欢的乐队有三个：
绿天(Green Day)
他们的音乐类型直系Nirvana，也属朋克摇滚一族。他们驻扎在伯克利，是一只湾区
的本土乐队，从80年代就演，到九四年才靠Dookie打出头，随后一段他们沉寂了一
阵出了些不同类型的专辑很多是POP ROCK。2003年他们靠“美国沙碧”American Idiot
重新红透半边天。他们的信息就是反战反政府，他们在演唱会上经常带领大家高喊
“F-布什”。我最喜欢的几首歌 (Holiday，Wake Me Up When September Ends，
Boulevard of Broken Dreams) 都在这个集子里，我个人很喜欢BILLY JOE 他是主
唱兼吉它手，乐队里还有Mike Dirnt (低音吉它和伴唱), Tr Cool (鼓手和打击乐)
(这BILLY JOE吧，眼睛涂的象熊猫，唱歌时嘴唇鼓的和只小喇叭似的，绝对爱死人：)

大红辣椒 (The Red Hot Chili Peppers )
又红又辣的大辣椒也是一只加州边缘摇滚乐队，也是80年代组的BAND，80年代末唱
出头(BREAK THROUGH)，91年有一只很好听的歌 GIVE IT AWAY，非常代表他们的特
色。99年的Californication是我最喜欢的一只他们的歌，这之后他们闭关数年，埋
头写歌，去年他们出了一只有38首歌的新集子Stadium Arcadium 。其中一首主打歌
Dani California在美国流行榜上迅速名列第六，在英国排到第二。
他们的歌大多和爱情友谊，也有不少性和音乐方面的，吉它手和伴唱John Frusciante的
吉它演奏特棒，在技术上绝对被认为是前几名。(请仔细聆听他们歌儿里的吉它过门)。
这只乐队有因为磕药什么的，而且分分合合的，有过不少新闻。最早的四个成员是
高中同学： Anthony Kiedis(主唱), Hillel Slovak(吉它手), Jack Irons(低音吉
它手), and Michael "Flea" Balzary(鼓手和打击乐。他们刚刚成功时，Slovak磕
药磕死了，Kiedis和Jack Irons两人受了刺激就逃跑了，Kiedis and Flea 换了不
少新成员，直到John Frusciante加入了他们的乐队他们才重新获得生机。

林肯公园Linkin Park
其实我已经开始不如几年前那么喜欢林肯公园了。也是一只加州摇滚乐队，也是几
个高中同学最早爨起来的。对国内的年轻人来说，他们应该比前两只乐队知名度更
高，因为他们去中国和亚洲都巡回演出过。
和前两只乐队相比他们更年轻，在技术上更前卫。不如在摇滚里加HIP HOP，加不同
的电子金属打击乐。MUSIC VIDEO 制作里用动画和电子游戏画面等等。他们的六个
成员里有一个是亚裔Joe Hahn，很多商业主意都是他出的。
他们的类型更接近流行ROCK，但基本是重金属。有一个特色是他们有两个主唱手，
一个又唱又嚎的(Chester Bennington)，另一个又说又喊-RAPPING (Mike Shinoda )，
最近新出的集子Minutes to Midnight ，基本是POP style
我喜欢的一首歌：In the End
5/3要和无名几个一起去看崔健演出，崔健的歌我只听了几首，但我感觉他也是那种
追求真实的人。托小人书和白菜几位的福，看了不少罗大佑的歌词，他的确挺有才
华，但仿佛是在深挖灵魂的同时仍然想不时加些彩色的花边，仍然有不少的幻想，
很符合70后们的理想小资情怀。和原始真实的Kurt Cobain相比，佑派们肯定还是
不够痛苦，不够深刻
我自己平时听歌并不整天听这几个乐队，但摇滚在很多时候更能直接触及灵魂深处，仿佛他们更接近人生本质：宣泄表达痛苦，寻求快乐幸福。
