Klishkivtsi —?Over the past weekend, the Russian Federation continued to bombard Ukrainian cities with dozens of drones launched day and night.The rubble of the Kherson administration building, bombarded by artillery around 4:00 PM on Sunday, is still smoking. A few hours earlier, on the night between Saturday and Sunday, the Russian Armed Forces had launched the most massive attack on Chornomorsk since 2022, leaving many of its civilian residents disconnected from the electricity grid and, in several cases, even from the water supply. Less than 24 hours earlier, late Friday evening into Saturday,?the Russians had launched a large-scale offensive against Ukraine, striking 14 regions?(Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Kyiv, Rivne, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Zhytomyr, and Volyn)?with over 600 drones and other missiles of various types?fired from various directions, including largely from the Black Sea.

Ukraine responded by striking several enemy positions in Crimea?in one of the most successful recent attacks, destroying a Russian FSB intelligence post near Armiansk, a large parabolic antenna complex for processing Glonass satellite data, an RLS 96L6-AP of the S-400 air defense system, a BLRS MR-10M1 Mys M1, an RT-70 radio telescope, a Utes-T RLC, several patrol boats at anchor, and two helicopters at Simferopol airport.
On its side, Ukraine experienced the most severe damage in Zaporizhia, where Russian forces destroyed over 40 private homes and at least 14 apartment buildings, injuring 34 people, including two children aged 9 and 10 and a 16-year-old girl. They were trapped under more than 100 tons of debris, which rescuers removed over the past few hours.

Pavlohrad remains the Russians’ main target in the Dnipropetrovsk regionbecause of its strategic importance for supplying Pokrovsk with weapons, which would otherwise be hard to deliver to that front due to the ongoing drone attacks launched by Moscow’s forces against the road connecting it to Kramatorsk.

Due to the heavy presence of mines and the sky filled with drones and spy balloons, entering those farmhouses was nearly impossible. However,?we can confirm that the Trident Armed Forces have effectively eliminated over 90% of the Russian raiders and saboteurs who attempted to permanently occupy them, and that the entire area around Dobropillia is firmly under Ukrainian control.?
Also notable in our continuous footage is?the absence of wreckage from Russian armored vehicles and other vehicles, definitively confirming that, beyond those raids soldiers call “flesh assaults,” there was no attempt to break through the Ukrainian front. This also shows that the reports claimed by much of the Italian media, suggesting otherwise, were false.

Large areas of Bukovyna, including the area where I am writing from, have been set on fire in the Chernivtsi oblast’ due to the?increasingly dense and frequent fall of debris from Russian drones and missiles. Last night alone, Ukrainian anti-aircraft guns shot down six here, another 14 in the skies over Cherkasy oblast, 20 in Dnipropetrovsk, and 25 over the Sumy region.
Although?Russian troops continue to target the Ukrainian civilian population?(just before this article was written, they killed one innocent person and wounded six others, including a child, by launching three KAB-250 glide bombs at the communities of Kostyantinivka, Staroraiske, and Druzhkivka in Donetsk), in an effort to reduce their heavy losses at the front,?the Kremlin has launched a coordinated information campaign aimed at exaggerating their military strength, creating the impression in the West that a Russian victory is inevitable.
As we have explained with timely live images and descriptions,?this is not true. In addition to the?heavy human losses?(estimated by the Ukrainian General Staff to be over 290,000 dead and seriously wounded soldiers in the eight months since the start of 2025),?the Russians are also losing ground on the very front where they have deployed the most troops?(more than 100,000, on the Pokrovsk front). This highlights?the importance of having correspondents on the ground who can provide an accurate picture of the situation in Ukraine to Western media.
The former president of the Verkhovna Rada in its eighth term (2016–2019), Andriy Parubiy, was killed in an armed ambush in Lviv on Saturday afternoon. While browsing the Italian press, I found at least a dozen different accounts of the incident and the background of that politician, whom some have even labeled a ?neo-Nazi? without correctly reporting his name.?
