A glass of wine on the floor

 

I would pour 

a glass of wine on the floor

In those dark, dark nights

You would fast, you would cry

You would protest

you would light 64 candles 

You would light 89 lights

I would drive

 ….packing dreams

I would paint, I would sketch

To tell the stories of that sleepless night

To pond my chest of love
