牧青和东东难得在国内呆这么久，自然能过的节日都要过。两个人终于决定过完农历新年回美国。所以剩下的两个大的节日就是元旦和春节了。
元旦的晚上，牧青的父母毕竟年纪大了，熬不住早早睡了。而牧青和东东今天都不需要上班上学，两个人一人抱着一个电脑窝在沙发上各自上着网，交换着各种年底的总结和视频，却是越看越丧气，这没完没了的疫情不知道什么时候才能过去。
东东感叹说：不管怎么样，2020算是过完了，跟做了一场噩梦一样。
牧青说：难怪大家都说庚子年是凶年，这何止是凶年，简直是大凶之年！
东东听了，过了一会儿，给牧青发来一张截图：
1840的庚子，鸦片战争

1960的庚子，三年大饥荒，三千万生灵涂炭，智利9.5级地震
2020年的庚子，全世界已经死了几百万
牧青叹了一口气说：今年太丧气了，死了那么多人，死了那么多名人。正巧看见朋友圈里有人转发TIMES的年度悼念视频，一张张照片如流星般从屏幕上划过，见证洛杉矶4点钟太阳的Kobe Bryant到特里独行 的Ruth Ginsburg，到让多少人如鲠在喉的李登辉，到把时装带到中国的皮尔卡丹，还有老詹姆斯，钢琴诗人傅聪，视频的结尾飘过李医生的照片。。。
牧青双手合十，感恩地说：好在我的家人朋友都健康。东东啊，你这一年太多历史意义了，你高中毕业，升入大学，这一年就赶上世界巨变。以后不说别的，就光你这一生怀孕的时候赶上SARS，18岁赶上新冠，妥妥的历史见证人啊。。。
东东耸耸肩说：赶上疫情，我们才能在上海呆这么久，也是因祸得福吧。
牧青拍拍东东说：是啊，不管怎么样，希望所有的厄运都随着2020走远吧。然后她发了一张图到朋友圈来纪念这不同寻常的一年。
后记
终于艰难地写完2020年的流水账，2020年必将会是人类历史的转折点。
这一年发生了太多的事情，毫不夸张地说：影响到了地球上的每个一个人。当初想写这篇流水账的目的，就是用一个故事串起这些事情，将那些越来越记忆模糊的事件记录下来，勉强算作一种另类的历史记录吧。从这一年开始，很多事情都发生了天翻地覆地变化，有些变化甚至知道现在还在一直发生的，还会持续下去。
疫情在国内是一个敏感话题，尽管只是一片虚构的小说，尽管我觉得我已经尽力避开各种敏感话题，但发在国内网站的时候不停的被下架，不停的被小编提醒小说不要涉及疫情话题。幸存的篇幅也不知道国内网站上最后会存在多久。也许以后在国内我们只能看见零星关于疫情的只言片语，比如豆瓣的这个帖子：
这也是我发在文学城的原因，希望能记录一点历史。
从上海封城以后，一度没有办法再写下去，因为发现现实远远超过我的想像，自己写的这些简直如白开水一样平淡。断更了很久，终归不愿意留下一个烂尾，勉力在年底之前写完，虽然我知道不会有多少人看到这个故事，但是依然谢谢屏幕前的你能看到这里。
