美国最高法院支持纽约大陪审团要求获取总统唐纳德·川普纳税申报单及其它财务记录的传票，驳回川普给予在任总统刑事调查完全豁免权的要求。
首席大法官John Roberts在裁决中写道：“总统既不能在寻求获得其私人文件的州刑事调查传票面前享有绝对豁免，也无权享有更高的需要标准。”这项裁决以7-2票获得通过，大法官Clarence Thomas和Samuel Alito持异议。

说是这样说，但到了2019年，税表还是没个影子。2019年8月曼哈顿检察官发出传票开始调查他老人家（为了付封口费给成人女星Stormy Daniel的事，那又够他老人家喝一壶的），但川普公不给就是不给还打起了官司，结果一审败诉，二审也败，官司一路打到联邦最高法院，今天终于判了下来。
这就是俺们守信用，号称promises made promises kept的总统。呵呵。
不过，这些税单现在还不能披露，一直要到十一月份大选结束后才能披露。川普输的不是太惨。
