Fidelity's 1099B form does not treat VIX option correctly in tax

The gain/loss should be treated as 60% long term gain and 40% short term gain, while Fidelity's consolidated 1099B form treated it as 100% short term gain.  Futhermore, if you go to your fidelity's online account under the tab "Accounts & Trade", choose "tax information & form" from the pull down menu, then go to "Year-to-date activity" and choose "year 2020", you will find the right number on short and long term gain, which is different from the number on their 1099B form. Just called their customer service about it and he agreed with me. He told me that he would report it to their tax department and I might get a corrected 1099B form.
