When (I see Him face to face)

When He says something to me

It is not just being said

All His words are concrete

On the way ahead

 

When He wants something done

It has already been done

All His promises are solid

Cannot be undone

 

When He gives something to me

It is free freedom indeed

His giving’s without charge

Yet cannot be bought

He will come back

I don’t know

I will die

But I know it for sure

When I see Him face to face

The hands with the scars

Will still hold me fast
