Far beyond

He created the universe in six days

Not by hand but by speaking

I can only wonder and stand in awe

His greatness is far beyond my imagination

 

He rose from the grave three days after

They slew Him on the cross

He gave His life only for giving mine

His kindness is far beyond my understanding

 

He will come back on a day no one knows

So shall we ever be with Him

Jesus’ face will shine through my heart

His perfection is far beyond my comprehension

 

I never get it why He condescended

To live to die for me

I never get it why He draws me near

Like the closest friend

But by His grace

I surely get it

I will have a life far beyond this life
