Take this heart and put it behind the bars of Your holy prison

From now on Your holiness is the only thing I can feel

With this sinful heart

Take this soul and put it between the walls of Your holy prison

From now on Your greatness is the only thing I can know

With this lowly soul

Take this mind and put it into a glory cell of Your holy prison

From now on Your kindness is the only thing I can have

With this wicked mind

Take this strength and put it into a restriction of Your holy prison

From now on Your light is the only thing I can follow

With this blind strength

 

Lord

Take all my heart

All my soul

All my mind

All my strength

Put them in Your holy prison

Where my personal freedom will die on the cross

And I will be free indeed
