He is not a figure in the books

Since the books themselves are dead

He is the One who is seeing you

He is the One who died and is alive

 

He is not a God in a distance

Although His throne is far and high

He is the One who is a step away

He is the One who hears your sigh

 

He is not a God without care

Since He experienced all of your fights

He is the One who weeps for you

He is the One who helps with might

 

He is not a God for perfection

Conversely He holds a broken child tight

He is the One who took my garments

He is the One who makes them white

 

How wonderful we have a good God like this

How grateful we are walking under a loving light

I want to hold His hands all along the journey

I know He is with me no matter what will be met
