心之所向，摇滚2021

      

最近，来自英国诺丁汉 的Doing Nothing乐队发布了五首歌，这些歌曲“如带有焦虑装饰的艰难时光再现，吉他充满喧闹律动声”，音乐评论说。“Glueland”是其中一首，查了一下歌名“Glueland”，它没有什么含义，不含什么典故，仅仅是造出来的歌名而已，从字面字组合看，有“胶水之地”或引伸为“迷人之地”的意思。的确，我们可以听到不一样的吉他弹唱。乐队名字摇滚味十足，“无所事事”，要么“有事可做，但不想、不必做”，要么“想做点什么，却无从下手”，或两者亦而有之。从歌曲“Glueland ”的MV视频中看，主唱拿着麦克风，爬行在用纸盒搭起来的狭窄通道里，通道又连接着一些狭小空间，其中的景物有些“光怪陆离”，视频图像形成一种“意识”的物理投射。

歌曲“Glueland”不一定那么悦耳动听，且有些“躁动”。音乐制作人Chris Bailey更详细介绍道：“歌曲Glueland是关于那种不可避免的感觉，置身于一种自我颓废泥泞的环境，如满身是泥的海象。我们创作的歌曲和艺术，所有的感受都是来自同一个世界。歌曲则在非常松弛的氛围中，录制下来的。单调乏味的现实生活意味着我们沿着一条、通向并不需要以成败论英雄的人生舞台，蹒跚前行。不要担心，我们确信，歌曲并不是有关“疫情隔离”的，因为没有人喜欢听。” 看来，两种理解似乎都可以，一是心有Glueland，正在为所想而前行，另一个不安于现状，产生了Glueland之想，如歌曲最后一段唱的那样，

 一首歌的时间总是有限的，但好歌曲一定是对生活体验的一种高度浓缩，或者某种感受的放大。如果歌曲表达越具普遍性，意味着其生命力就也越长，一些传唱至今的摇滚经典，也许说明了这个道理，比如Bob Seger的“Turn the Page(1973)”，以及The Turtle 乐队的”Happy Together(1967)” 。还有被滚石杂志所列历年500首最佳歌曲排名第392名的“Bitter Sweet Symphony “(苦甜交响曲)，这歌曲发行于1997年6月，涉嫌抄袭，直到2019年4月才终结版权纷争。摇滚歌手Sari Schorr的那首歌“Ordinary Life”，发布已一年了，现在再听，感觉和以前有些不一样了。

今年3月即将发布的新专辑“The Bitter True”（苦涩的真相），值得关注。如歌曲“Wasted on You”，虽然歌曲创作于疫情发生之前，Amy Lee介绍道：“我并没有写当下所经历的困难，但某种程度恰巧反映了目前的处境”。她的另一首“Use My Voice “, 也非同凡响，2020的一些片段注定留在摇滚女歌手Amy Lee的歌曲里 。
