给大门上色

换大门很贵。在换房客期间把旧门简单维护一下，可以多用很多年。

所需材料：

MINWAX polyShade（stain + Poly in One Step)；

220-grit sanding sponge;

cleaning vinegar; kitchen paper towel; painter's tape; brushes.

 

Steps:

1: Lightly sanding the door: by using 220-grit sanding sponge & edge detailing sanding sponge 

2: Spraying cleaning solution to the door. Using paper towel to wipe it clean. 

cleaning solution: cleaning vinegar: water = 1:1

用厨房纸擦干净

3: Taping glass area, door handle, and lock by using Painter's tape.

地上铺塑料薄膜保护

4: apply MINWAX polyShade (Lowe's or Home Depot: $19.98)

从下往上，从左到右。一小块一小块地涂上颜料，再用厨房纸抹去多余的颜料。

Using Foam brush $1.09 or synthetic brush to apply stain

foam brush 才用了几下，把柄就脱落下来了，勉强用它上完第一层coat。

改用毛刷上第二层coat，毛刷好用太多了，不仅涂得匀，而且更能表现木头的纹理。
