我們最近剛從中國回來，中國的高鐵和地鐵，以及過去30年的城市建設，讓擁有3000萬人口的大城市都能有發達的交通網絡，然而在同一時期，在愛爾蘭，我們都修不完一條地鐵，真的一條都沒有，近30年來我們一直在討論這個問題，從我住的斯沃斯經過機場到市中心的地鐵計劃仍在計劃之中，但到目前為止，國家已經在這個項目上花費了3億（歐元），但還沒有任何建設開工，甚至還沒有設計出來，這就是一個笑話，這些都是我們迫切需要解決的問題。
