哥大之难读与学生的GPA

《苛分猛于狮 - 哥大攻略》一文发表后，网友们询问了一些信息，在此列出供参考。中位GPA和平均GPA是不同的，但哥大这两项都指向B+。抱歉没查到最新的数字。

家长别逼孩子爬藤，尤其是别轻易挑战最难读的几所大学，除非你不在意GPA 3.5以下。当然，有金刚钻的那倒是一显身手的机会。哥大的中线是3.3，在3.0以下痛苦不堪的占40%左右啊。要有心理准备，尤其是想读医学院的，如果你在那里只是中间水平，你3.3的GPA州大医学院都很难进。在哥大3.3，如果去州大，3.9以上不是问题，上医学院容易不说，还有自信。另外，要教育孩子在任何情况下都要活下去。活着，就有乐趣。实在不行就转到州大去读，把自信心拾回来。

回复 '哈瑞' 的评论 : 不知你转的同学专业，也有可能是专业不同，GPA的标准不同，也有可能是个例。据我所知，Berkeley的有些专业比Stanford都难拿好的GPA。一孔之见。

你这个list居然没有Berkeley，Cal的难念是出了名，也许是因为你这个排名是局限于藤校和私校的，不包括公立？？我女儿的四年大学也是读得苦不堪言的，好在她心仪的哥大也是这么难念，也就没什么遗憾了。
