炮竹声中一岁除，

春风送暖入屠苏。

千门万户曈曈日，

 

总把新桃换旧符。

 

The sound of firecrackers ends the year of sheep,

 

Enjoy the warmly spring winds, we drink home-made wine

and delicious soup.

 

The rising sun makes the couplets even bright,

 

They display our new year wishers and future hope.
