柳永 《雨霖铃》英译

Cicadas are shrilling and weeping, 
Pavilions stand in the dark gloomily, 
And the storm stops falling. 
I barely drink the farewell drink inside the tent by the capital gate.
I want to stay longer here 
while the boat is waiting for me imperatively there.
                                             
Holding your hands and gazing into your eyes, 
we cannot say a word, only bursting into tears. 
Imaging miles and miles away, misty and cloudy sky is on my way. 
It is always sorrowful when lovers have to be apart, 
not to mention at this dim autumn time.
                                       
Where will I wake up from my drunkenness tonight? 
at the willow banks, 
with the waning moon, 
in a chilly morning blow.
                                            
From now on and many years ahead, 
beautiful days and lovely scenes will mean nothing to me. 
Even if I have many words to say and love to give, 
I don't have anyone by my side to hear and to share.

寒蝉凄切，
对长亭晚，
骤雨初歇。
都门帐饮无绪，
留恋处，兰舟摧发。

执手相看泪眼，
竟无语凝噎。
念去去千里烟波，
暮霭沈沈楚天阔。
多情自古伤离别，
更那堪冷落清秋节。

今宵酒醒何处，
杨柳岸、
晓风残月。

此去经年，
应是良辰好景虚设。
便纵有千种风情，
更与何人说。
