Lily James looks ladylike in an elegant column dress with colourful sequin embellishment at War & Peace premiere in London
She's taking on the female lead in the new BBC adaptation of War & Peace.
And Lily James was leading the glamour at the world premiere of the exciting new adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's classic novel in London on Monday night, ahead of the first episode's grand debut on Sunday 3 January 2016.
The 26-year-old beauty, who plays charming heroine Natasha in the period drama, looked incredible in an elegant black column dress with dazzling sequin embellishment on the bodice.
Lily was the picture of sophistication in her high-necked gown, proving you don't need to show skin in order to be sexy.
The Cinderella star, who is dating former Doctor Who favourite Matt Smith, kept her hair and make-up look simple to complement the glittering floral embroidery on the bodice.

A matching, jewel encrusted belt cinched in the garment at the waist, highlighting her slender frame.
Lily was joined by her handsome co-star James Norton at the premiere, who will play Andrei.
The 30-year-old actor, best known for appearing in Happy Valley and Life In Squares, has been making a name for himself in recent times and looks set gain further recognition thanks to the new adaptation.
Also joining the pair at the premiere was actress Tuppence Middleton, but there was no sign of American actor Paul Dano, who is taking on the role of Pierre.
Tolstoy’s 1,300-page tome has been adapted for the BBC by writer Andrew Davies, who famously sexed up Pride And Prejudice for television.
He admitted: ‘There is a certain amount of nudity. When you expect someone to be nude, they are.’
The classic tale follows the lives of several aristocratic families during Napoleon's war with Russia.
The lavish new adaptation, which is due to be broadcast in the New Year also stars Jim Broadbent, currently featuring in TV drama London Spy, and Gillian Anderson of X Files fame.
War & Peace was last portrayed by the BBC as a 20-episode production with Anthony Hopkins in the lead role in 1972.
Filming for the heartbreaking story of love, war and family life took place in Russia, Lithuania and Latvia.
The six part series, directed by Tom Harper, will begin in January on BBC One.
