2016-144 命里浮沉

这几天在读Fall of the giants，上千页的书，不同国家不同阶层人物命运的浮浮沉沉。在一战和二战的大背景下，民生维艰，生活和爱情都成了奢侈品。大厦将倾，百姓如蝼蚁四散奔逃。

每一小节的精华都在最后一小段，精彩之上嘎然而止。读这样一本书，仿佛站在高处俯视芸芸众生：前一页还爱的翻云覆雨的人们，后一页就已经要各奔东西，仔细算算这爱也不过两三个月而已。人们东奔西突，在大时代的浪潮里谋求活路。

乐生等孩子们睡了，上楼来和我聊了聊《悲惨世界》，不同的社会和历史背景，同样颠沛流离的人物命运。共同点就是底层百姓在面对困境时的果断、坚强和爱。有很多段落深深的打动人心。他说：推荐你看一看。

后记1：第二天在豆瓣上买了《悲惨世界》，顺便搜了一下中译本哪个更好。最后买了李丹、方于的译本，因为这对夫妇一生颠沛流离，为了这套译本穷其一生，很是应了悲惨世界的主旋律。李丹去世之后，方于接力参考李丹的翻译风格完成了第五卷的翻译。每一本巨著的翻译都多多少少打上了译者的烙印。

后记2：今天小犇儿学校Harvest festival，四年级的学生唱了一首歌，很是符合Fall of the Giants的主题：离家千万里，家人，爱人都在心里却又遥不可及。
