Katherine Jenkins looks femininely festive in her red floral print dress for TV performance

Hark! The herald angels sing - or rather the closest mortal equivalent.

Katherine Jenkins looked divine as she belted out some tunes on Friday during a festive appearance on the Lorraine Show.

Her take on the classic Christmas carol Silent Night was as beautiful as the way she looked at the ITV studios.

The Welsh opera singer wore a red floral print dress with long sleeves, which framed her slender physique perfectly.

She elongated her bare legs with patent nude courts on a high and ultra thin heel.

Her blonde locks tumbled down her shoulders in loose waves and her radiant beauty, enhanced by her pink lipped smile, made her appear truly angelic.

Andrew Levitas' wife was all smiles as she joined Lorraine on the chairs to discuss her career, Christmas plans and married life.

Having tied to knot to her 37-year-old American beau at Hampton Court in September, Katherine recently revealed that it was TV presenter Gethin Jones' decision to break off their 10-month engagement three years ago.

She said in a new BBC documentary that she struggled to make sense out of the situation, following the 36-year-old TV host's rash decision.

'At the end of 2011, when Gethin and I broke up, the reality of it was that, about two weeks later, I had to go on a UK tour where every night I'm singing songs of heartbreak and every day just trying to find the energy to cope - let alone going on stage and understand his reason for doing it.'

However, she soon met Andrew and the pair got engaged in April 2014, five months before their big day.

She added: 'Meanwhile, everybody else is under the impression it was my decision, my ambition - I wanted to take over the world. It was so far from the truth.'

Jenkins also confessed in the programme, which is being screened on BBC Wales on Monday that she carries out a series of rituals before each performance.

She said: 'I'm very superstitious actually. I have my pre-show rituals.

'I have to put on my right shoe before my left and I say my prayer, which is a little chat with my Dad. If I don't do it, I feel like I am going to have a bad show.'

Meanwhile, after filming with Lorraine ended, Katherine continued to put on a fabulous sartorial display as she left the venue in a fabulous camel coat.

She added a brown bag for a touch of casual glam and did not even feel the need to take off her super high stilettos as she tottered home.
