Jointer是和带锯一起买来的，开箱之前的图请参阅带锯的介绍，也是General的牌子。
这是一款6寸的带有螺旋刀头的豪华型，超长刨身的机器，英文介绍如下（部分翻译）

这个机器拥有的4组16个双刃刀片是这个机器的最大特点，和目前一般的三组直刀相比，具有刨削效果极其光滑，运行声音非常轻微，刀刃即使有损坏，只要换一个块状刀片就可以了。另外一个就是开关具有安全锁，装置。下面图片可以显示其这方面的特点。
当然，具有螺旋刀片的平刨的价格是一般同等型号机器的一倍左右，我的这台机器价格约$1400，还不算运费。
我查了一下，General（将军）牌这款机子在美国的价格也比Jet和Powermatic的螺旋刀头的6寸平刨要高。
这个机器在运转时声音非常底，刨削效果非常好，是我非常钟爱的一台机器。

回复 'chinomango' 的评论 : 平刨（jointer）一般不能和压刨（planer）相互替代。平刨的作用是为了取得一个基准平面或者直边，然后以此基准平面为基准，再用压刨，就可以得到上下两个平行的面。

平刨压刨能否互相代替？平刨拼板用修边的功能可否用雕刻机或你的festool轨道锯代替？

回复 'jyx-003' 的评论 : 这个螺旋刀头有16个方形金属块的刀片，顿了后换一个方向就行了，一个方块可换四次。全部换过后就要抛弃买新的了。我用了快3年了，还没有换过。机器买来时，配有几个备用刀块。
