关于苹果的遐想

1。圣经的故事

创2:9 主上帝又使地面长出各种树木来，它们既好看又能结出美味的果实；在园子的中间又有生命树和分别善恶树。

（ And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.）

创3:5 上帝这样说，因为他知道你们一吃了那果子，眼就开了；你们会像上帝一样能够辨别善恶。

（For God doeth know, that in the day ye eate thereof, then your eyes shalbee opened: and yee shall bee as Gods, knowing good and evil).

2。牛顿与苹果故事

传说1665年秋季,牛顿坐在自家院中的苹果树下苦思着行星绕日运动的原因.这时,一只苹果恰巧落下来,它落在牛顿的脚边.牛顿从苹果落地这一理所当然的现象中找到了苹果下落的原因——引力的作用,这种来自地球的无形的力拉着苹果下落,正像地球拉着月球,使月球围绕地球运动一样.

 

3。 白雪公主与Alan Turing的故事

白雪公主咬了一口有毒的苹果，昏死过去，在善良的七个小矮人的帮助下，克服了后母的诅咒，找到真爱的王子。

Alan Turing 是英国数学家、逻辑学家，他被视为计算机科学之父。Turing是著名的男同性恋者之一，并因为其性倾向而遭到当时的英国政府迫害。 1954年，Turing因食用浸过氰化物溶液的苹果死亡。

4。 苹果公司和它的logo（The Legend of the Apple Logo）

多年来一直有谣传说 苹果公司的商标是源于Alan Turing自杀时咬下的半个苹果，但该图案的设计师Rob Janoff和苹果公司都否认了这一说法。Rob Janoff said with the bite taken out only to provide scale so the apple wouldn't be mistaken for a cherry.而公司创办人史蒂夫·乔布斯在接受BBC英国广播公司电视节目《QI》时被主持人史蒂芬·弗莱问到此事时说：“这（LOGO向Alan Turing致敬）不是真的，但是，上帝啊，我们希望它是真的。”（"It isn't true, but God, we wish it were."）
