- Even though I did not understand a word of the dialogue, I thought it an excellent film with great direction, great actors, and great costumes. It kept me riveted the whole way. Nobody does this genre better, or understands it better than the Russians who paid such a terrible price in blood to defeat the Nazi scourge.
