［七律］咏夏～次韵龙兄（附英文版）

高温盛夏又如何，

素有闲情去日多。

炭烤猪排鸡翅嫩，

生啤牛串胃移挪。

凉瓜蜜枣冰消暑，

绿豆沙糖热毒磨。

一掠浮云轻伴过，

赋诗斟句恣婆娑。

 

High temperature in mid-summer ain't much to care,

Usually I'll have much leisure time to spare.

Pork chops and chicken wings on the charcoal stove are so tender,

Beer and beef strings are for the stomach to render.

Ice bitter squash cooked with candied dates can refresh one's mind,

Mung beans soup will have the heat toxic grind.

Plundering the clouds gently to pass,

Drafting a poem with choiced words is like dancing on glass.
