纽约印象

当初在新大陆上的第一脚，就踏在纽约的地皮上。从此和纽约缠绵多年，喜好厌恶交织。

在街头顺手抓拍几张照片，按心里的印象作成版画效果。如果有时间画纽约的话，也就是画成这样了。
 
这几幅是用白天的照片“做”成的。黑色上是夸张了些。把纽约的生活中西部、南部的生活相比，在纽约可以活得很精彩，很有色彩，但却不轻松。精彩的同时负荷重得多。今天正好在纽约的办公室，和同事聊天说到，每次到纽约来，中午比在中部都要饿得早。大家说可能一是空调温度低些，二是纽约的节奏快些，热量消耗就大些。有的同事说每天回到了新泽西车站，走路不自觉地都马上比在纽约街头慢些。

纽约的精彩，和外部的陈旧和冷酷差异很大，要进到“里面”才能“尝”到。它在文化和生活里的丰富，不是走马观花从外面能真正了解。而每个人能够经历领会到的丰富和精彩，还看各人在什么圈子生活，自己在情趣注意力上的取舍。光怪陆离，丰富多彩这样的词，还是用在黑色的后面比较合适。纽约和纽约人一样，从外表上，要比它的内部世界生硬、冷漠、沉重的多。

用在这里的重重的黑色，一是觉得比较符合自己对纽约的外表形象的印象，二是很喜欢黑色在版画里使色彩对比更强烈绚丽，留下很丰富的想象空间。 要做版画，我肯定对黑色有特别的偏爱。用一个黑色在不同的图画里表达赤橙黄绿青蓝紫的不同情调，是个很有趣的游戏。
