Today is Monday, April 9th. This week's gardening chores include:

• Broccoli: Transplant 1-2' apart in rows 2' apart. Grows best in rich, well-drained soil in full sun. Floating row covers help keep pests at bay.
• Cabbage: Transplant plants 12-18" apart in rows 2' apart. Grows best in rich, well-drained soil. Benefits from uninterrupted growth, so maintain consistent moisture and fertility.
