Children always had a lot of fun in the Halloween parties they had hosted. They wore their favorite costumes and trick-or-treated in the neighborhood. Adults also tried to have a little fun, enjoying good foods, singing karaoke at the top of their lungs, or just chatting a spooky night away.
Last year, the hostess had a new idea. She took out all the costumes she had accumulated over the years, coercing the guests to put them on for a little fun. We all hesitated at first, but as if on cue, all of us hustled to the pile of costumes, some of which were made by the hostess herself and her two daughters years ago. Boy, we had fun. It was the most fun evening I had ever had in my life. At that moment, it seemed like we were pumped full of adrenalin and teenage hormones, forgetting all the worries and just simply having a good laugh.
