我写的第一本英文书"TheStoryofRice";已出版一年多了。最近获得一个图书比赛自然类的金奖,并接受了一个采访。写此书的目的是想讲述一下稻米的科学,历史,和文化,包括各国的饮食文化,得到此奖是意外收获。虽然不是什么大奖,但能得到认可,感到很欣慰。另外,英文不是我的母语,完成此书不太容易,花了很长时间,总算坚持下来了。下一步我想把此书翻成中文[

我写了N年的书终于出版了,花了很多时间和j精力。感觉像爬了一座山,很辛苦,但途中偶遇了很多美景,收获很多。这是个最好的学习过程。
这本书是关于水稻的--水稻的历史,文化,和食用。吃了一辈子的米饭,又是学植物的,对水稻情有独钟。感谢所有种水稻的农民和水稻研究工作者。特别是我敬仰的袁隆平。此书献给他们。
