Since two cousins came to live with us, my son is not an only child anymore. Two girls like to follow him, and keep yelling things at him such as, “哥哥! Lunch time!” “哥哥 ! Have some fruit!” “哥哥! Come watch this TV show!” Haha, to my surprise, son finally stopped telling “too annoying!” to me! He has no idea what it is like to have younger sisters.
Judy just passed 6 years old. She is not afraid of anything. we sent her to the 1st grade class as soon as she arrived here from China even though she still had a jet lag. She enjoys taking the school bus. The first day she was so proud, “I made seven friends today, but I don’t remember their names!” The second day she felt a little embarrassed, “I took a nap in class. My teacher and friends told me I drooled while I was asleep！” The whole family just laughed. When I come back home every day, Judy always gives me a hug first and continues to complain, “哥哥 didn’t finish his milk!” “哥哥 stayed on the computer since he came back!” With such a daughter, I have a watcher must save my energy to become younger!
Emily is 12 years old. She is more shy and introvertedt. When I had a conflict with my son for FB & computer time, she wrote a note to my son, “I don’t think your mom is right, but could you please talk to her gently?” She bought my son a beautiful card and wrote beautiful birthday wish. Her many writings were published s in China. After two month in the States, she has straight As and has become the teachers’ sweet heart.
Recently the girls moved to a new place. My son asked me, “why is it so quiet here?” Haha, he feels lonely now!
