I arrived at the track a little late today because my daughter woke up right before I was leaving. It was a good run, but when I sat down in the car after walking one lapse, I felt a sharp pain in the area of my c-section scar. I checked and there was no bleeding around the scar. I got out the car, then the pain disappeared; I went back and sat down, the pain came back. I was scared and called my husband.
“Do you want me to go and pick you up? Do you think you need to go the hospital?”
“Let me try one more time. I will move the seat, maybe it’s the angle of how I sit in the car”.
I moved the driver’s seat to the back a little bit and slowly sat down there. Three’s a charm. I drove home with my husband on the speaker phone.
According to Dr. Google, it seems it’s quite common for women runners to feel this kind of pain after a c-section. After all, it hasn’t been two years since I had the second c-section. To be on the safe side, I need to see a doctor before the race on Oct. 21st. I already know what Dr. Beautifulwind will say, haha.
