Great-grandma

I think my mom’s paternal grandma was a funny lady. She predicted, when my maternal grandma was pregnant with my youngest auntie, that this would definitely have to be a girl. Her explanation to my grandma was “A table has four legs. A car has four wheels. Having had three daughters already, you will need another one to complete the family.” I also think she was very open-minded because she lived in the era when men were dominant and boys were favored. She didn’t ask for a boy for her son, instead, she joked. Don’t you think she was lovely and cute? I once mistook her daughter as her in an aged photo. I was vaguely disappointed when told that wasn’t her.
