As the cook of your family, you might agree that thinking of what to cook is a tough task.
I used to ask my family what they wanted for dinner. Ninety-nine percent of the time the answer came as “anything”. I would emphasize, “I can’t cook anything. I can only cook something.” Eventually I gave up on asking for never getting the useful answers. Now I cook what I choose. Amazingly I have heard more appreciations than complaints since.
