Quit, Comforter or Duvet?
** Quilt
The quilt is usually a bed coverlet made of two layers of fabric with soft substance (cotton or down) between them, and stitched in patterns in order to prevent the filling from shifting.
Many quilts are made with decorative designs, and some of these are not used as bed covering at all, but are rather made to be hung on a wall or otherwise displayed.
** Comforter
The comforter is an American English for quilts without specially designed decoration patterns. Comforters are intended to keep the user warm during sleep. Comforters are generally large and rectangular in shape, filled with natural or synthetic insulative material and encased in a covering.
** Duvet
The duvet is a French word meaning a down-filled comforter; It often comes with a removable cover.
