失散多年之亲弟钟伟舜（吴启华）玩弄谨昌义妹方学宁感情。锦源痛诉伟舜不是，而伟舜更为保养父之宠爱，不惜谋杀锦源。伟舜财雄势大，不仅逃进法网，还连累 谨昌被革职，谨昌与月明之婚约亦迫得搁置。更害得学宁跳楼自杀。
