在镇上有个石像，是William Gilbert Rees在溜羊(不是狗)。他是皇后镇的创建者。
镇上街道很窄，人很拥挤，找个停车位不容易。镇上有个膜夹肉(Fergbaker)店，很有名，牛肉饼特好吃。
镇傍有座小山，可以走上去，得化一小时，要出一身热汗的。化50-60元可以乘吊车上山和下山，省事。在山上可以俯瞰小镇全景以及邻近的湖面。山上有个饭店，但要预定，否则吃不上饭。但傍边的Bar, 可以点些点心和饮料。
从女皇镇开往Glenorchy， 一路上很美丽，特别是沿路的湖面，蓝绿色的，很棒。到了Glenorchy, 那里有饭店，也有一条徙步走的路。途中经过几个小湖，湖中有很多黑天鹅，值得一走。
