《卜算子 咏梅》英译

看《离骚》，感念屈原情怀之烈，有心抛弃生命之时，所写的那段“芰荷以为衣兮, 集芙蓉以为裳; 不吾知其亦已兮, 苟余情其信芳。” 由此联想到陆放翁的《咏梅》。可以说《咏梅》一诗的清香不去，是《离骚》芳信依存的延续。屈陆二人的遭遇与情怀有很多相似的地方。久不动笔搞诗词英译了，乘着余兴，将《咏梅》一诗翻译了一下。匆匆忙忙，没能仔细推敲，贴出来与同好共酌：

 陆游原诗；

 《卜算子·咏梅》

驿外断桥边，
寂寞开无主。
已是黄昏独自愁，
更着风和雨。
无意苦争春，
一任群芳妒。
零落成泥碾作尘，
只有香如故。

《Busuanzi－Singing of the plum blossom》

 By the broken bridge, near the post-inn,
blooming solitarily without being seen,
Fallen down the dusk , gloomy and aloof,
the sadness doubled by the wind and rain.
No mind striving bitterly for the favor of Spring,
mattering none the envy from all that flowers.
Even been snubbed as mud, crushed into dust.
Only alone, the sweet smell would last ever as。.

 注：* 末段第二句如用ignore  有贬低别人的意思。一任，是随便，不在意的意思，所以选用 Matter none。

* 冷落是一种态度，这里的冷落和后面的碾作尘都有“被” 怎样的意思，所以翻译时选用了被动语态。
