Had it enough dealing with this hispanic applicant

Seems like we are all freely discriminate here. I see people just talking white, black, spanish all over, so I am just going say things like title. I am not talking to tenant anyway like this. I am just come here to rant.

So I bought this townhouse in low income area after reading what many people said good thing about renting to Spanish people here. Then after advertising for a week. This Spanish family came and said their townhouse is foreclosing and filled application right on the first visit and gave me the credit check fee in cash. I checked his and his father\'s credit and seems their history is good till the foreclosure/bankrupt happened. So I decided to rent the townhouse to them.

During all the process, one really strange thing was they just really aggressive on filling out the application and afterward they never take the initiative to call me and ask any question or check on the application progress. It\'s always me calling them asking them stuff. Then if I call them, they will say they need housing and bad.

Then process moved on and finally came to the signing of lease. We made an appointment, and I called ahead and asked are we all good to sign the lease, they say yeah yeah. And then they are late for 20 min for signing the lease. They don\'t even bother call me and say sorry but we are running late what not. I have to call them and ask them are you going to be here and then they tell me yeah, they will be here in 10 to 15 min. When signing the lease, they argued and want to get days before Nov 1 rent free. I told them can get half price but not rent free. They said they will sign right before the day they moved. I agreed and we rescheduled for another day to sign the lease.

Now came the day to do another signing. This time I was there 10 min late, but they are still no show. I decide not to call them and see if they will call me and let me know what\'s going on or not. I waited till 20 min past our scheduled time and that\'s it for me. I just had it. I called them and left a voice mail saying if you are even late for signing twice, how can I trust you for on time rent payment. I have decided not to rent to you.

On my way out, I did see their car pulling in. This is already 25 min past schedule time. Even I saw them, I did not stop and just drove away.

10 min later, their phone call came in and they dare to ask, are you there at house and waiting. The idiotic thing is after I told them they got rejected, all they is OK. I then said ok, bye.

That\'s my story on dealing with a Hispanic family.
