I couldn't remember willow's waving hand
Nor I recall where by the lake you stand
We wandered and sit till fall of night
And decided to camp on this escape land.
 
I couldn't remember the color of the day's sky
Nor I recall those words you lie
In dreams I made myself repeat loud
With tears awake of me never were you proud

8 over 14 is 57%, I am just a tiny bid over halfway to sonnet.
BTW, few people here enjoy English poems. You are one of few exceptions. Your excellent English must have also brought you some additional joys!

sonnet你就别太谦虚了，sonnet你肯定能写很好。你已经almost there。１４行+１１音节+韵脚pattern。
你英语那么好，又那么会抓题材。

每个诗句都是１１个音节（right？），读起来上口。

戏雨飞鹰 2009-10-04 13:39:29 回复 悄悄话 这副画有一种朦胧的美。池塘与前面的花草和后面的树木衔接match得很好很自然。波光粼粼的池塘水面与蓝天有浑成一体的感觉。可就是蓝天上的白云好象过于浓重厚密了点。尤其喜欢前面的花草部分，好棒：）

这画费了好大工夫的吧？
可以改行当画家了，哈。。
