Looking for

Life is a journey of looking for.

A Trip to a dreamland

I went to yellow stone last week and came back this Monday.
We came in through the southern entrance at 7/30 and got out from the western gate 8/1 noon.
My two friends from my hometown traveled together with me.

It is a wonderful and mystery land with springs, fountains, geysers, creeks, lakes and bays everywhere.
Hot water sprouts from dark, deep underground with some quietly and peacefully while others making a big noise like people full of excitement.

Some geysers are full of energy and life, like robust young men or attractive ladies.

A powerful jet of boiling water and steam, issuing from beneath the earth, is erupted proudly into the blue sky from their narrow outlet pipe.

While they do so, they are roaring loudly, demonstrating their authority to rocks, trees, flowers, and animals around them.

They also prepare themselves colorful skirts, a pattern composed of blue, yellow, green, red and others I can not describe clearly.

Slowly the streams come together forming small creeks wandering along the slopes of the hills.

Then small rivers joined together and come into big rivers and then lakes and bays.

While others are taking rests and become inactive currently.

Yet we still know that they must have been attracting the eyeballs of elks, buffalos, bears, and native tribes just years ago, or tens, hundreds, or even thousands of years ago.

We show as great our respects to them as to other that are active now.

We know that someday they would recover to their young lives.
