Have been places to places
Birthplace to start but no memory
childhood place to dream or stare in blank
teenage school to think and drift
admired or be admired
University to idle for future
Endless researched and perhaps did something
And workplace to workplace to grow wiser and older
Sentimental or not
We went back to relive some residues of the past
where we could spring into ourselves and determine how future could become
Now stand at crossing over the hill
climbing up further or sledding down at will
or up to us
not the place any more
