You know our hearts are always open
open to the right moment
to the right question
from the right person
out of this world
We have been closed to most
for such a long time
long enough to drill the loneliness
into the darkness
that even the night couldn't tell from itself
Only the moon always knows
but does not convey to us
until we are open to each other
through the moonlight
