Civilization

For thousands gone with the smoke
thousands more followed
The calculations no politician wants to debate
but no parent want to assume
Life is not deducible in tragedy
and not recoverable after tragedy
The hatred of mankind
outcast all forms of love
Amplified and perfected by mankind
is the killing of the innocent
as if the barbarian pride of conquering
still needs to show its animal instinct openly
where love could only feel the reward
internally in such a subtle way
Not sure when the mankind could really get civilized
without depriving of someone else life
in whatever excuse
