Friendship II

 

Just a walk

up a hill along the prairie

as far reaching as its openness

as close as holding hands

 

Just a chit chat

so few but just enough

to spark so much more

than those meaningless polite talk

 

I do not celebrate

the temporary high

'cause  I would slide to the valley

in comparison right after

 

I only cherish

the long lasting warmness

ever so slightly with

occasional thought of you
