My Friday, the 13th

Did not notice it is Friday, the 13th
until I stacked up 13 hours of work
For a whole week, tried to persuade bosses
to shift the priority,  to fix what we had to
and to avoid the worst scenario by all means
Like wind through ears, some promised to deal with
but left without hesitation, some blabing

Did not get the OK to pursuit the emergency fix
until late Friday afternoon, but first
need to seek approval from client
Not until 10PM but we were lucky
to fit the best scenario winthin an hour
provided as best guesstimate
at 12:01 Friday, the 14th
We were successfully avoid the disaster 13th
Thank myself, and perhaps God
